Linda’s collagraph plates are made of matte board, paper, string, glue and various media. Paper is torn, cut, peeled, and manipulated in a variety of ways to create textures on the surface of the plate. The plate is sealed with varnish before it is inked and printed. Often the results are a surprise, a delightful part of this printmaking method.
The collagraphs are statements expressing concern about our planet, environment and human values.
