Using an innovative approach to printmaking, Linda produces monotype prints by painting the images in oil onto a plexiglass plate and then rolling over the oil with water-soluble ink. The image is transferred onto the printmaking paper using an etching press. Often the prints are cut and then collaged together. Her process requires that she draw a new image for each impression. Therefore every print is one of a kind.
The monotypes are nature inspired and are meant as metaphors of the human spirit.
